I wanted to emphasize on the many outstanding experiences my friend and previous property manager Bo did for me and my wife. Not only he went above and beyond in regards to our previous rental where he was our landlord but he excelled even more when it came down for us looking for a new home. He did the footwork by selecting numerous properties for us to look at, he went and inspected them personally before we went to see them, he provide us with detailed information on each one of them as we were visiting it and he was beyond impartial. Not one time while we were looking for properties we felt that he would try to push us into buying something we did not want and that for me emanates trust in a person. We did went over two properties who ended up failing inspection and luckily due to Bo’s attention to details when it came down to crafting our contract we were able to get our deposit back which was amazing. He was diligent the whole time in regards to the contract that was presented to us as well as negotiating the deal with the realtor which allowed us to become new home owners of a home that was sold to us at $17000 less under the market value. In all honesty, I do not believe that we would have been the homeowners of a brand new home in an amazing gated community if we wouldn’t have met Bo.

I bought a new home this year and Bo Rathgeber at Preferred Properties Group represented us. We knew him for years as the property manager of the home we were renting. He was always easy to work with and friendly. When we decided that we wanted to buy a home, he provided us with listings information on properties in greater Fort Myers that were in our price range and area. We went out on several occassions and toured homes with him to figure out what we wanted. He pointed out both the good and the bad on properties. When we found a property that we liked, Bo gave us information on what similar houses had sold for so that we could make a fair estimate of the value. He wrote the purchase contract so that our deposit was protected in case the house did not pass inspection, we did not get our loan, or it did not appraise for atleast as much as we agreed to pay. Unfortunately, we had to cancel two contracts because the inspections were bad. On the first one, the house had a roofover which we could not have known about without an inspection. The Seller tried to save money and did a partial repair that we could have gotten stuck with if our agent was not looking out for us. On the second one, the house had problems too and we cancelled and got our deposit back on that one too. In the process, we realized that we are new home people and we wanted things to be perfect. Based on that, Bo found a new home community with very nice houses in our price range. He went with us to the community and we toured some. We liked the new homes there and decided to buy a house. He helped us negotiate a great price and we were able to buy our house for less than other ones the builder was selling. We have been very happy in our new house and Bo did a great job representing us as our Buyer’s Agent.
